Aspen/Avon, Colorado (June 27, 2013) – Decypher Technologies is pleased to announce that three of its technicians recently attained advanced certifications, bringing their total number of Apple certifications to seven. Decypher is now the largest member of the Apple Consultants Network in the Rocky Mountain region.
System Administrator Dustin Werre completed both Microsoft and Apple trainings to earn Apple’s Mobile Technology Competency for Decypher Technologies. This competency requires the advanced Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist for Windows Small Business Server 2011, a certification which Werre attained prior to testing. Apple’s Mobile Technology Competency ensures that Decypher is skilled at implementing mobile devices like iPhones and iPads in a corporate environment. This involves everything from enabling advanced security measures to setting up an iPad in kiosk mode so that it can only be used for one purpose.
“The use of iPhones and iPads in a work setting has created the need for higher security standards for businesses,” said Director Farr Shepherd. “This competency is crucial to staying competitive in the mobile technology market,”
Two of Decypher’s other technicians, Adam Galusha and Matt Kane, were also recently certified as Apple Certified Support Professionals (ACSPs). The ACSP certification allows technicians to provide Mac OS X support and troubleshooting. Galusha already holds Apple’s Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) certification, which allows him to repair Apple hardware according to Apple’s best practices.
“Our four technicians with Apple certifications and competencies enable us to handle every Apple-specific need for our clients,” said Shepherd.
Decypher has nine additional technicians with certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, fiber optics, and other technologies.
