This month, Timbers Resorts invited the Decypher team to Jupiter, Florida to assist in preparing the property for its addition to the exclusive Timbers collection. This involved very thorough planning with our highly trained team of IT professionals to execute the transition with precision, so nothing slipped through the cracks.
Jupiter, Florida is known by Floridians as a hidden treasure. It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle, on the East Coast just north of Palm Beach, and is a beautiful retreat for those who love the quiet, natural beauty of the state. Jupiter was even ranked one of America’s Happiest Seaside Towns by Coastal Living Magazine, and boasts the world-renowned Juno Beach.
On Friday September 12th, 2014, Timbers Resorts introduced this new property, Timbers Jupiter, to their luxurious collection – a private residence club hidden inside the Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter. This location is the home of a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, where many golf legends have teed off.
Since the property was joining a portfolio including the best of the best, such as Dancing Bear Aspen, Timbers Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek, The Timbers Club in Snowmass, and The Sebastian Vail – along with exquisite properties in the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Cabo San Lucas, Tuscany, Maui, St. Thomas and more – the property had to be in top-notch shape.
When guests checked into the property prior to Friday, they were checking in with another company; by Saturday they were staying at a Timbers Resort club residence. In order for a transition of this scale to go smoothly, the Decypher team worked around the clock to change over Opera – the Property Management System being used – as well as to set up over 20 new desktops and laptops, install new servers, update the phone system, and more. The IT team did all of this with virtually no interruption to the service operations of the Timbers staff, and while continuing to provide a streamlined technology experience for Timbers’ guests.
